INDEX : Film A - Z | LISETTE AND ROMAIN’S ART OF LIFE

TITLE: LISETTE AND ROMAIN’S ART OF LIFE (LE CHEMIN BRUT DE LISETTE ET ROMAIN)
  DIRECTOR: Richard Boutet
  PRODUCER: Vent d’Est Films

SYNOPSIS:Lisette and Romain are two painters who are worlds apart. Romain, of British origins, was marked by the Second World War. Lisette, of québécois origins, comes from a deprived background and has lived through the harsh Duplessis years.
What these two have in common is almost 35 years spent in the same colossal psychiatric hospital. They, among others, were able to leave thanks to their discovery of art, under the watchful eye of Suzanne, a humanist therapist.
This stunning film tells the story of their transformation and of their uniquely beautiful “art of life.”
