SYNOPSIS: THE 11th ANNUAL VANCOUVER FOLK MUSIC FESTIVAL documents the 1989 HIGHLY UNLIKELY DATES festival that took place in the city’s beautiful Jericho Beach Park. The festival boasted over 200 performers from 18 countries. The film captures the performances that took place over three days, including Chinese, Central American, Australian special programmes, as well as a survey of Canadian Celtic Music.
