SYNOPSIS: This film tells the story of Québécois who lived through the First World War. Images taken from archive films and moving testimonies from fifteen World War I soldiers and citizens are tied together with a few fictional scenes.
  Featuring fourteen songs by the lovely and thrilling Joe Bocan in the role of the Madelon.
  Winner of the Alberta-Quebec Prize for Innovative Cinema. The Radio-Canada broadcast drew 900,000 viewers across Canada.
