Denis Boivin has made several award-winning short films, including an extraordinary biography of Pope John Paul II. Born near the Huron village of Wendake, just outside Québec City, Boivin has returned to his roots for inspiration as he offers an original look at an unknown aspect of life among Canada¹s First Nations. Hold On To Your Hat! is his first feature film. This dramatic road movie was largely shot on location in the Anishnabe, Innu and Wendat communities of Québec over the course of a 2,500-kilometre-long journey.
