A stunning feature set on the Canadian Prairie, THE NATURE OF NICHOLAS is the tale of a young boy wrestling with an attraction to his best friend and tormented by the ghost of his father. Twelve-year-old Nicholas is the focus of this unique coming-of-age story about the tumult of nascent sexuality and a boy¹s struggle to reconcile his desire with what is expected of him. Featuring a creepy array of insects and a menacing cast of zombies, THE NATURE OF NICHOLAS takes the audience deep within the psyche of a young boy and introduces us to the sinister underpinnings of the living dead.

THE NATURE OF NICHOLAS is Jeff Erbach¹s first feature film but his short films have had noted success at festivals around the world, including venues in Paris, Berlin, New York and Buenos Aires.
